Greenside Venues Fringe Placements
With the kick off of the Edinburgh Fringe, two of our Staged For Life participants, Ben and Savannah completed their induction into their upcoming Fringe placements at Greenside Venues!!
We toured the venue, learnt a little more about their roles and chatted with Callum Graham, Director of Production at Greenside Venues.
Throughout the month, Ben and Savannah will work on a wide variety of productions, building their skills and confidence in sound and lighting design.
With 204 shows across both Greenside venues, Ben and Savannah are jumping in at the deep end as they experience both the chaos and magic of the Fringe.
Callum explained to us that Greenside Venues works with a variety of productions companies from all over the world and they ensure that each show receives the same level of support no matter budget or past experience.
Ben and Savannah took part in Staged for Life back in July and has since gained the opportunity to develop the skills he built alongside industry professionals at the world’s largest performing arts festival!
We hear from Ben about how this placement will allow them to put their training from Staged for Life in action!
Thank you to Callum Graham, Director of Production at Greenside for showing us the ropes, we are so excited to see what the month ahead brings!
