Meet Alison
After completing, EveryStage’s Introduction Social Media and Marketing for Events, Alison completed a paid-placement at one of our Community Ambassadors events in partnership with All In and Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth games.
During this placement, Alison gained hands-on experience in event photography and videography, editing, working to a real brief, real deadlines, and working with the public. She was briefed with documenting the Community Ambassadors as they engaged with the public, ran activities, and created the buzzing atmosphere of the Games .
That’s exactly the kind of practical, portfolio-building experience that opens doors into Social Media, marketing and a variety of events careers.
