Run and Become
Many children and young people cannot participate in events and activities due to their families personal circumstances. Run and Become was established in partnership with schools around the Wellington region to remove barriers to participation, enabling over 300 school pupils to take part in the annual Wellington Round the Bays fun run.
In addition to taking part in the event, pupils are also involved with training activities, leadership workshops and healthy eating lessons in preparation for the big day. Run and Become continues to be delivered as part of Wellington Round the Bays.
